§.The RICHPLAT ORTHO® 20 PRP SYSTEM has an 18mL whole blood draw (+ 2mL ACD-A), giving a 20mL volume.
The RICHPLAT ORTHO® 40 PRP SYSTEM has a 36mL whole blood draw (+ 4mL ACD-A), giving a 40mL volume. There will be an equal transfer of 20mL of whole blood into two PRP concentrating tubes.

3. Centrifugation¶
¶. Because there are two 20mL concentrating tubes with whole blood in the RICHPLAT ORTHO 40® PRP SYSTEM being placed into the centrifuge opposite of each other, the counterbalance tube is not needed for the RICHPLAT ORTHO 40® PRP System.
4. collect the PRP
The RICHPLAT ORTHO® 40 PRP SYSTEM has a 36mL whole blood draw (+ 4mL ACD-A), giving a 40mL volume. There will be an equal transfer of 20mL of whole blood into two PRP concentrating tubes.

Indications for Use
The RICHPLAT ORTHO® Platelet Rich Plasma System is designed to be used for the safe and rapid preparation of autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) from a small sample of peripheral blood at the patient’s point of care. The PRP is mixed with autograft and/or allograft bone prior to application to a bony defect for improving handling characteristics.
